Because of the holiday I'm not going to be swimming tomorrow, I'm planning on a nice 4 miler tomorrow morning. It's been AWESOME weather here in Utah and I fully plan on taking advantage of it....even if Amanda feels like she should go with her hubby on a day date rather then run with me. (picky picky) I MISS running. For some reason Amanda and I have been very spotty with our runs the last two months. Most of our cardio has been done at the gym, which is fun at all, but it's not the same as running outside... no, not at all.
I'm getting excited to get my bike out on the road and get working towards the tri. This week I'm headed down to the local bike shop to get the road bike tuned up. I also am going to be checking out bike shoes, they are pricey so I'm hoping someone just decides to donate me a pair (ha) or I can find a serious sale online. Those who bike, any thoughts of where to find cheap bike shoes? Once I get my bike tuned I'm going to take it out for a nice ride. I have a bike trailer for the babe, so I think my new goal is to go on an afternoon ride. We'll see. Hmmmmm. I hope this weather sticks.
I hope your workouts were better than mine! What does your upcoming week look like?

sometimes being sick and throwing up is a workout...enjoy your run it has been nice weather :)
Being sick is the pits - the last thing you need to do is worry about not exercising while you were sick! (Note: please tell me the exact same thing next time I get sick). haha.
Anywho, I got my bike shoes off Ebay. I went and tried on a bunch at local bike shops around here and found the ones I wanted. Unfortunately they were $135 and I had just got my road bike and tri clothes so I wasn't willing to spend that much. I found the ones I was looking for in my size on Ebay for $70. NICE! You could also get KSL, that is where I got my brand new road bike for $300. I heart getting deals ;)
I won't be using mine till July or so (I am sure sitting on a bike after birthing a child might take a while) so if you are about a 7 and 1/2 to 8 and 1/2 (street shoe size) I am willing to lend mine out.
