Still the Same 'ole Lori

Went running this morning with the D-ladies.

We had been running oh maybe 5 minutes

The sidewalk came up and tripped me.

Yup.

I face planted it on the sidewalk, scratched up my knees, hands, and shoulder.

Good to know some things never change.  No matter what the elevation.

Lori, I went with Amanda on a run one morning and guess what I did? Thank goodness I was right next to her. She caught my arm which kept me from landing on my face. She said it reminded her of you. I'm sorry those darn sidewalks come up. They can mean things. Good job on going outside for the run.

Oh, I did that this summer! Right in front of an elementary school. Right at 8:30 in the morning when moms were dropping kids off! Yeah, I was the comedy for the morning and no one stopped to ask if I was ok... It was a HARD fall. I felt my shoulder crunch and I was bleeding all over. If I had been maybe 15 years older, pretty sure my hip would have been broken! For the next couple of weeks, I looked like a little kid who had fallen off of her bike I had so many scabs! Now I have scars!

Good luck on your "recovery"!!!
Stupid cement walkways...
