Okay. I'm actually committed.

SCARY!!!  Today I did the last thing that was needed to actually participate in the triathlon.

I bought my cycling shoes and pedals.

Eeeep.  That means what? I'm ACTUALLY DOING THIS TRIATHLON.

Wow.  Reality just slapped me in the face.... training here we freaking go....

Its amazing how money motivates! You're going to totally rock this. And I think I should get to come and sleep over at Erin's even though I'm just going to be cheering you on. Yes, yes I do...

I LOVE cycling. I miss it so much. My cycling shoes are stored in a special place until I get a bike again. :) I had a question though (for you and your running affiliates)...what shoes do you wear?? I am trying out some Brooks right now and don't know if I love them. Last year I did the Asics Nimbus and really like those, although I don't really like this year's - too bubbly or something. My husband did a triathlon last Fall and he loved it.

this week was pretty good! I have hit the rec center 3 times and hope to get one more time in on saturday (maybe tomorrow if I can get up early)
I have 2 free passes to 2 different rec centers so it will be fun to switch it up. As for eating healthy I kinda didn't do so hot but you win some you lose some!

I just had to post on Abbie's thing-- when my husband and I have been cycling, we've been using speedo water shoes. I know it sounds absolutely crazy, but they work far better than anything else we've tried.
